Never underestimate others

Updated: Apr 30, 2021

An elderly Russian woman had two kids, Adrian and Maxim, one of them was very sharp in his skills, memorizing abilities, a complete bookworm while the other one was not so good in studies and spent most of his time leisurely, playing games, respectively. So, one day the boys came home, Adrian was happy as always, as he had scored A grade in the course assessment. Maxim was in a bad mood, not because he didn't get good grades but because his classmates made fun of him for not adjusting in the society. They both had sports week coming ahead. Maxim's mom asked him, 'honey! What's the issue in not participating in the sports week?' He responded, 'I don't feel in my full energy.’ But his mother knew the real reason. Obviously, it was because of his 'so called friends'. Somehow, his mother convinced him to at least attend the program. As the boys reached the school, Adrian started having back spasms, as he didn't do warmup showing over efficiency. As his replacement, Maxim was asked to take part in race and represent their class, but he was scared as anything. His mom encouraged him saying: ‘this is your chance to prove everyone wrong that not only reading books and memorizing facts make you good enough! Go out there and show the world what you're capable of.’ This pumped-up Maxim and he gave all his blood and sweat, winning the race, surprisingly. That's because he was fit physically and had outdoor activities.

Just because someone doesn't fit our standards of stereotypes doesn't mean that they are useless, they can be best in many aspects that we can't even imagine.

Moral: Never underestimate others
